ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY
In today's "litigious" society, companies are required to comply with a myriad of regulatory compliance issues. All types of businesses are required by OSHA, EPA, MDEQ and DOT to maintain compliance and training within the regulatory framework.
Regulations literally change daily according to the Federal Register, not to mention the state and local requirements. Not only are regulations important for compliance, but providing a safe workplace for employees is of concern for all organizations.
Environmental stewardship, sustainable development, and design for the environment are now reality in today's competitive global market. To be successful, organizations may need to go beyond compliance and provide an "Environmental Management System" such as ISO 14001. Prior to development of commercial real estate individuals and organizations must conduct "due diligence" if they expect to qualify for the innocent land owner defense under CERCLA.
DCCS offers the training required under certain statues as well as site-specific, specially designed courses to allow organizations/businesses to comply with regulatory requirements as well as providing a safer, more environmentally "friendly" workplace.
