Air Conditioning Refrigeration (Level I)
Audience: The target audience is anyone who deals with refrigeration or air conditioning on a regular basis including Maintenance Technicians, Service Technicians, Building Managers, Apprentice HVAC Technicians and personnel interested in acquiring new skills.
Duration: 24 Hours depending on needs
Prerequisite: Mechanical background.
Description:
The primary focus of training will be on mechanical refrigeration and air conditioning fundamentals, along with trouble shooting and problem solving. Preventative maintenance as well as routine maintenance will be discussed. Training is available on basic refrigeration, comfort air conditioning, process refrigeration, E-Mag refrigeration, electronic panel cooling and refrigerated air dryers.

- Basic refrigeration fundamentals
- Air conditioning fundamentals
- Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting
Objectives: Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Have an understanding of the fundamentals of refrigeration and air conditioning. 2. Obtain general knowledge to identify, troubleshoot and repair many of the common problems experienced with mechanical refrigeration and air conditioning.

Refrigeration Technician CFC Certification Program (Level II)
(under section 608 of the Clean Air Act, EPA Approved Testing - Level II)
Audience: The target audience is anyone who deals with refrigeration or air conditioning on a regular basis including Maintenance Technicians, Service Technicians, Building Managers and Apprentice HVAC Technicians.
Duration: 16 Hours
Prerequisite: Mechanical background and Knowledge of Refrigeration fundamentals are beneficial
Description:
On-site training and EPA testing for Technician Certification for refrigerant handling under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act. Topics covered include: maintenance procedures and safe handling of refrigerants to conform to the rules set forth by the EPA.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Have a solid understanding of EPA requirements for handling refrigerants, recovery, recycling, and reclamation. 2. Through testing, obtain certification for technicians meeting all requirements set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency, under Section 608.

Refrigeration/Certification Program (Level III)
Audience: Persons responsible for the service and operation of all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Duration: 16 hours
Prerequisite: Air Conditioning Refrigeration (Level I) Refrigeration Technician CFC Certification Program (Level II)
Description:
Actual hands-on training on client's equipment will be provided. Methods of leak testing, refrigerant recovery, evacuation and refrigerant charging are all done in class. The use of the pressure/temperature chart, dial-a-charge and sight glass methods of refrigerant charging will be accomplished. Proper use and care of recovery equipment and other refrigeration service tools will be covered. Safety practices will be stressed throughout the entire program.
