Building Team Pride and Purpose™ (4 hours)
This module provides team leaders with the principles and skills that instill high degrees of pride and purpose in their teams. It explores today’s workplace challenges and the need for accelerating performance through teamwork.
Developing Team Agility: Day-to-Day Tools™ (4 hours)
This module focuses on the strategies team leaders can use and actions they can take to build high levels of team agility: quickness, flexibility, and adaptability. Participants focus on three agility areas to help accomplish this: 1) Focusing Team Effort, 2) Learning Just-in-Time, 3) Staying Informed.
Fast Start for Teams (4 hours)
In many business environments, people don't have the luxury of letting a group slowly gel into a team. Virtual and project teams can come into existence quickly, and they must function and advance toward results without delay. This module walks team members through the process of setting up a team charter. It provides practical, actionable tools to help members stay on track, avoid the problems that plague many teams, and achieve success. Helping Your Team Work (2 hours)
Participants recognize the value of strong teamwork and the consequences of the lack of teamwork. Participants: learn that people who work for the same organization are all a part of one large team that needs to work together to be successful, explore the ripple effect one person’s behavior can have on an entire organization, identify characteristics of the ideal team player and list obstacles to good teamwork and identify ways to overcome them. Making Meetings Work (8 hours)
This workshop focuses on the organizational and facilitation skills necessary to lead and participate in effective meetings. Participants learn the skills to develop a clear, well-defined agenda, encourage useful participation, handle disruptive behavior, and ensure follow-up on action items.
Negotiating Resources for Your Team™ (4 hours)
This module provides participants with the negotiating skills they need to secure resources for their teams. Further, participants learn to negotiate solutions that work for all parties involved.
Optimizing Team Performance (4 hours)
Teams bring innovation and productivity to your organization. But even the most effective and productive teams occasionally hit plateaus or barriers that can prevent them from achieving their full potential. This module recharges teams by providing: a framework to diagnose strengths and weaknesses; tools to continually improve performance; and a process to build action plans that optimize performance. Resolving Conflicts Within Your Team™ (4 hours)
This module focuses on handling tricky situations that often develop among and between team members. It provides the skills and tools for team leaders to intervene directly or to support team members in addressing these situations on their own.
Valuing Differences (4 hours)
Everyone looks at things in a unique way. Today, the companies with the greatest competitive advantage are those that can make the most of their people's diverse abilities. This course gives people effective tools for appreciating others' unique perspectives, understanding people's inherent differences, and collaborating in a mutually beneficial way. Working as a Team (4 hours)
For a team to achieve its goals, its members must do more than just carry their own weight. They must involve, support, and share information with their teammates.
