FACILITATION/MEETING MANAGEMENT
Techniques 1: - Train the Trainer (24 hours)
This workshop focuses on teaching and learning principles and is intended to review and discuss the preferred methods and techniques of teaching. For the sake of discussion, it assumes the mechanical, technical, or component knowledge of the instructors is not an issue at hand. Only those matters dealing with teaching as a "performing art" and the actual teaching-learning process are subject matter for the workshop group. Topics covered during the workshop include: Platform Skills and Techniques; Adult Learning Principles; Developing Learning Objectives; Using Your Voice Effectively; Selecting Training Methods; Developing and Using Training Aids; Handling Problem Situations; Basic Facilitation Skills; and video taping and feedback segments.
