Adapting to Change (4 hours)

If people wince, stonewall, or rebel when a change in routine is mentioned, there is a solution. When employees can adapt quickly, the entire organization becomes faster, more flexible, and better able to answer the demands of an increasingly competitive marketplace. This course develops the confidence and skills needed to face change and welcome it as an opportunity to grow and learn.

Helping Others Adapt to Change (4 hours)

What is the cost and impact to your organization if workers are disoriented by change? This course focuses on the crucial role leaders have in effectively exploring change, introducing change, and helping others overcome resistance typically associated with change. Leaders learn how to conduct effective change discussions that minimize the potentially negative effects of change on morale, processes, and productivity.

Leadership: Facilitating Change (4 hours)

How your company handles change depends on how your leaders help people move from the disorientation stage to integration and acceptance. This module shows leaders how to make change a positive experience for others by focusing people on a shared vision, building business partnerships, championing ongoing improvement, and creating an environment in which learning is encouraged.

Personal Strategies for Navigating Change (4 hours)

In today’s workplace, employees are experiencing tremendous changes in organizational strategies, in the way work gets done, and in the way people work together. These changes present new demands and challenges for every individual in the organization. Without personal strategies for dealing productively with change, employees can become overwhelmed and communication can break down. This module provides an effective approach to navigating change that people in any organization can use. Participants explore skills that help them deal with change both individually and interpersonally, and they develop strategies to deal
effectively with a change that’s difficult for them.

Positive Responses to Change (2 hours)

If the only constant these days is change, it’s vital for all employees to respond swiftly and positively to the many changes they face or will face in their jobs. Because of the natural human resistance to change, however, it’s easy for them to feel victimized and, as a result, to be left behind or worse, to seek other employment. This module offers a four-step process for making the most of change, rather than resisting or just enduring it. After a video examination of resistance to change, the module helps participants come to grips with their own resistance, weigh their options, find positive responses and encourage others to do the
same. The module fosters practical optimism by helping participants see the bright side of a new situation, rather than dwelling on what is lost.
