Microsoft® Word – Level I (6 hours)
This course provides competency in using toolbars and menus, opening documents, moving through documents, closing documents, and using document views; creating documents and entering text, saving documents and working with document properties; selecting, editing, copying and moving text; inserting date and time fields, using automatic text features; previewing and printing documents, creating and printing envelopes and labels; formatting text using various tools and task panes, formatting paragraphs by changing alignment and spacing, using tabs and indents, adding borders and shading, and creating and sorting lists;
formatting document pages by setting margins, alignment and page orientation and adding borders, backgrounds and themes; using Find and Replace; checking spelling and grammar and using research tools; and working with templates.
Microsoft® Word – Level II (6 hours)
This course provides competency in working with graphics; using advanced formatting options; working with headers, footers and columns; using styles; creating and formatting tables; using basic collaboration features; and using charts, diagrams and organization charts.
Microsoft® Word – Level III (6 hours)
Forms, Merges and Advanced Collaboration. Features: This course provides competency in creating forms;
working with form fields; enhancing, protecting and testing forms; using the Mail Merge tool to create
form letters, labels and envelopes; and usingadvanced collaboration features.
Microsoft® Word – Level IV (6 hours)
Customization, Long Documents and Macros. This course provides competency in customizing the Word environment; using Excel worksheets and XML documents; navigating long documents; summarizing document content; using endnotes, footnotes, tables of figures, tables of authorities, indexes and tables of contents; using master documents; and working with macros.
Spreadsheets
Microsoft® Excel – Level I (6 hours)
This course provides competency in creating workbooks, modifying worksheets, formatting worksheets and printing worksheets. This course also provides competency in creating and editing formulas, working with basic functions and the Function Wizard, applying text attributes and other formatting characteristics, creating workbooks from templates, using styles, adding worksheet backgrounds, applying AutoFormats, and finding and replacing data.
Microsoft® Excel – Level II (6 hours)
This course provides competency in organizing and consolidating data from multiple worksheets, adjusting the screen display, working with advanced functions, using advanced formatting features, using advanced print options, filtering data, using comments, naming worksheet ranges and formulas, creating and modifying charts, protecting data, importing and exporting data, saving worksheets and workbooks as Web pages, and publishing worksheets and workbooks to the Web.
Microsoft® Excel – Level III (6 hours)
Database Management and Analysis This course provides competency in validating data, creating and modifying list ranges, sorting database data, using database functions, using the Advanced Filter and Automatic Subtotal features, creating and modifying PivotTables and PivotCharts, formatting and adjusting PivotTables, auditing worksheets, performing what-if analyses, and working with scenarios.
Microsoft® Excel – Level IV (6 hours)
Customization, Collaboration and Macros This course provides competency in customizing the Excel interface, using templates, using custom chart types, using workbook collaboration features, using workbook integration and XML features, creating and editing macros, controlling macro assignments and functionality, and troubleshooting macros.

Microsoft® PowerPoint – Level I (6 hours)
This course offers competency in creating and modifying presentations, and inserting and modifying objects, charts and tables.
Microsoft® PowerPoint – Level II (6 hours)
This course offers competency in formatting, reviewing, delivering, customizing, animating and printing presentations; exporting presentations to Microsoft Word; and preparing presentations for delivery in different formats.
E-Mail, Calendars
Microsoft® Outlook – Level I (6 hours)
This course provides competency in working with contacts; using e-mail; using instant messaging; managing multiple accounts; setting e-mail options; and configuring security settings.
Microsoft® Outlook – Level II (6 hours)
This course provides competency in creating and managing tasks; working with Calendar items; scheduling appointments, events and meetings; creating and managing notes; and finding and organizing Outlook information.

Microsoft® Access – Level I (6 hours)
This course provides competency in creating databases and tables, working with table data and field properties, working with related tables and using filters and queries.

Microsoft® FrontPage – Basic (6 hours)
This course is designed for students with limited HTML experience who want to learn the basics of FrontPage elements and techniques. Students will learn several new topics including, Publishing a Web site to the World Wide Web, LAN, or SharePoint Portal Server, and setting permissions for a Web site.
Microsoft® FrontPage – Advanced (6 hours)
This course is designed for students with limited HTML experience who want to learn some of the more advanced FrontPage elements and techniques. Students will learn several new topics including designing a Web page by using layout tables and layout tools. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.

Microsoft® Publisher – Basic (6 hours)
This course is designed to give proficiency in creating publications, formatting text, inserting graphics, and performing other basic-level tasks. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.
Microsoft® Publisher – Advanced (6 hours)
This course is designed to give proficiency in creating newsletters, designing Web sites, setting up mail merges, and performing other advanced-level tasks. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.
Operating Systems
Microsoft® Windows® XP – Level I (6 hours)
This one day instructor-led course presents the basic concepts of Windows XP. You will be introduced to Windows XP features and the steps required to use the features correctly.
Microsoft® Windows® XP – Level II (6 hours)
This one day instructor-led course presents the advanced concepts of Windows XP. Students will be introduced to using Outlook Express including creating, sending and receiving messages. You will learn file management features, how to maintain Windows XP, and how to address performance and maintenance problems. You will also learn to use automation and remote features.
