Overview: This workshop defines today’s multiple generations in the workplace, builds awareness of issues resulting from these diverse employee populations, helps employees engage and communicate better across generations, and offers different approaches to feedback for working through generational issues toward greatest organizational effectiveness.
Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Describe characteristics of multiple generations in the workplace
Identify their values
Identify workplace implications for dealing with diverse generations
Set the stage for employers to identify potential problems when different generations work together
Proactively address issues with the positive intent of team-building across generations for greater effectiveness
Sensitize themselves regarding generational issues and, given different approaches to feedback, engage more effectively with others
Participants will recognize that “Generations” can make life better for everyone!
